Volumetric Weight

If your parcel is large in size and light in weight, you may be charged for its volumetric weight rather than its actual weight. To calculate the volumetric weight use the formula below:

length x width x height (cm)	= weight (kg)

Parcel weight is rounded up to the nearest half kilo. The greater of the two weights will be used for the shipping cost.

If you have a parcel that exceeds these limits, please contact CARGOFORCE team for alternative service options.

Please make sure you STRICTLY do not hand over the shipment for collection if your shipment exceeds these requirements otherwise there will be a penalty from the carrier of £30 per package.

How to Book?

If you are happy with the quotation supplied and would like to go ahead then please email us back by filling the attached forms in excel format with the details :-

1. Complete Senders & Receivers Name, Address & Tel number in Origin and of the Destination.

2. Total Dead Weight of Each Piece if known otherwise closest approximate weight.

3. Dimensions of each piece. (in cm Length x Width x Height)

4. Date you would like to collect your goods. (We need at least 24 hour notice for collection)

5. If you are unsure of the Value Just write NCV (No Commercial Value). Describe your goods in detail e.g. 5 shirts, 3 jeans, 2 utensils etc

Restrictions:

* No Perfumes, Deodrants or aerosols of any kind are allowed.

* Any kind of dangerous or hazardous goods are not allowed.

* Each Piece/Suitcase/Box/Carton etc MUST NOT weigh more than 28.5 Kg’s

* The maximum length of each pack shouldn’t be more than170 cm

* Booking cut off time is 5 PM week day’s for next working day collection

* All collections must be made from the ground floor. If you live in a multi-story building the boxes must be moved to the ground floor.

* Volumetric weight is taken in to consideration so customers are required to know the dimensions of the parcel.

* If you do not provide correct parcel dimensions and weight and your parcel is oversize or overweight then extra charge will be debited from your card.
