 Understanding Chargeable Weight

Our pricing is based on the greater of the actual weight or volumetric weight of your shipment.

•  Actual Weight: The weight of your package on the scale.
  
  
•  Volumetric Weight: Calculated as (Length  Width  Height in cm) / 5000.

 Examples:

• Example 1: Actual Weight: 10kg, Dimensions: 50 x 30 x 20 cm, Volumetric Weight: 6kg, Chargeable Weight: 10kg
  
  
• Example 2: Actual Weight: 10kg, Dimensions: 50 x 60 x 40 cm, Volumetric Weight: 24kg, Chargeable Weight: 24kg

 Our Shipping Process

1.  Initial Consultation: Discussing your shipping requirements and providing an accurate price estimate.
2.  Booking Form: Complete our online form with your shipment details. Form Link
3.  Pick-Up Arrangement: We collect your package from your specified UK address.
4.  Warehouse Processing: Verification of package weight and dimensions at our Wembley, London warehouse.
5.  Invoice and Payment: Invoice based on final weight and size, with payment instructions.
6.  Shipment Dispatch: Your package begins its journey to India, typically within 14 workdays to Metro cities and 21 workdays to remote areas of India.

 Payment Information

•  Mode of Payment: Bank transfer in the UK or India (before dispatch).
•  UPI Interface: Google Pay for payments in India.
•  Forex Transaction Fee: Rs5.5 every pound (GBP) on top of the Google exchange rate for payments made in India.

 Note: We do not accept cash or cards.

 Non-Compatible Surcharge

•  Non-Compatible Surcharge: £15 per parcel for items like suitcases, bags, trolley bags, etc., which are incompatible with our automated sortation equipment.
•  Recommendation: Transfer contents into boxes to avoid surcharges and loss due to shipping labels coming off.

 Prohibited & Restricted Items

•  Hazardous Materials: Perfumes, deodorants, explosives, etc.
•  Weapons and Electronics: Mobile phones with battery, ipads, laptops, firearms, drones, etc.
•  Illegal Goods and Currency: Narcotic drugs, e-cigarettes, counterfeit goods, etc.
•  Geopolitical and Cultural: Incorrect maps and literature, goods made in Pakistan, antiquities.
•  Animal and Plant Products: Endangered species, live animals, plants, etc.
•  Precious Metals and Currency: Gold and silver (other than ornaments), excess currency.

 Customs and Packing List

•  Duty Included: The £4 per kg rate includes duty, but all customs rules and regulations apply.
•  Customs Inspection: Misdeclaration can lead to additional duty. Remove all price tags.
•  Packing List Requirement: A detailed box-wise packing list is required for smooth clearance in India.
  • Packing List Assistance Charge: If you're unable to prepare a packing list, or if you're not in the UK, we offer a packing list preparation service at a cost of £15 per box.

 Package Safety and Liability

•  Pre-Delivery Photos: Request photos of your reinforced package from us.
•  Delivery Inspection: Check and photograph the package upon delivery before opening the package. Do not open before documenting.
•  Liability: Maximum liability is $50 per package/box for lost or undeliverable shipments. No insurance, No compensation & No liability for in-transit damage.

Important Note: This service is not suitable for fragile items or those prone to breakage. Even with bubble wrap, we cannot guarantee protection against breakage. Cargo Force provides two layers of outer protection, but this does not ensure the safety of items inside the package. Cargo Force will combine/join multiple pieces of a shipment to add additional protection layers at no extra cost, provided they have been received in their original condition at our warehouse without changing any box or packing type. Please be aware that there is no compensation for damage, and Cargo Force cannot be held liable in any way for any damage incurred during transit. Sending fragile items or those prone to breakage is done at your own risk.

 Important Shipping Guidelines 

 Note: Before sending your items through Cargo Force, please take note of the following important guidelines to ensure a smooth shipping experience:

•  Size Limitations: The maximum dimensions for pick-up items are 80 cm in height, 80 cm in width, and 80 cm in length. If your item exceeds these dimensions, a Long Length Charge of £25 per parcel will apply.
•  Weight Limit: Each piece must not exceed 30 kilograms in weight under any circumstances due to health and safety. Items exceeding 30 kg will be subject to a Heavy Weight Surcharge of £25.
•  Pick-Up Services: Our pick-ups are carried out through DHL, and their terms and conditions apply from your doorstep to our warehouse.

How to Book?

If you are happy with the quotation supplied and would like to go ahead then please email us back by filling the attached forms in excel format with the details :-

1.            Complete Senders & Receivers Name, Address & Tel number in Origin and of the Destination.                  

2.            Total Dead Weight of Each Piece if known otherwise closest approximate weight.                       

3.            Dimensions of each piece. (in cm  Length x Width x Height)

4.            Date you would like to collect your goods. (We need at least 24 hour notice for collection)

5.            If you are unsure of the Value Just write NCV (No Commercial Value). Describe your goods in detail e.g. 5 shirts, 3 jeans, 2 utensils etc

Restrictions:

* No Perfumes, Deodrants or aerosols of any kind are allowed.                      

* Any kind of dangerous or hazardous goods are not allowed.                      

* Each Piece/Suitcase/Box/Carton etc  MUST NOT weigh more than 30 Kg’s

* The maximum length of each pack shouldn’t be more than 80 cm                            

* Booking cut off time is 5 PM week day’s for next working day collection                                                     

* All collections must be made from the ground floor. If you live in a multi-story building the boxes must be moved to the ground floor.

* Volumetric weight is taken in to consideration so customers are required to know the dimensions of the parcel.

* If you do not provide correct parcel dimensions and weight and your parcel is oversize or overweight then extra charge will be debited from your card.

* Price includes duty at destination where clearly stated.

* Tracking numbers are provided in the final invoice and can be traced directly through the carriers website.

Important Information:

All parcels being delivered outside the EU require these forms for customs, including parcels being delivered for non-commercial reasons such as personal items and gifts.
